Medical Science Liaison (EU/UK)
Full Time / Part Time (United Kingdom)
The clinical face of Samphire in Europe — building KOL relationships, delivering scientific exchange, and supporting evidence generation across the EU and UK.
About the role
We are building non-invasive neuromodulation devices for conditions like PMDD, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and migraine — conditions that hormonal and surgical approaches have consistently underserved.
This role is the clinical face of Samphire in Europe. It builds KOL relationships, delivers scientific exchange, and represents Samphire at congresses across the EU and UK. We are looking for someone clinically trained, trusted by clinicians, and informed by data. NHS or other healthcare system experience is essential. This is a strong fit for an OB/GYN or psychiatrist looking to pivot into or diversify into medical industry work.
This is a full-time or part-time position, UK-based (London preferred; open to remote within the EU/UK for the right candidate).
What you'll do
- Identify and build relationships with KOLs in PMDD, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and neuromodulation.
- Deliver clinical education and scientific exchange to healthcare professionals.
- Represent Samphire at EU and UK medical congresses and scientific events.
- Communicate trial data, published research, and clinical context in support of the evidence generation narrative.
- Support European clinical and commercial pilots in collaboration with the commercial team.
- Provide field-based clinical intelligence back to Samphire's clinical and product teams.
What we're looking for
- Clinically trained — nurse, pharmacist, or physician background.
- NHS or other healthcare system experience essential; private sector experience a strong advantage.
- Established clinical network in women's health, gynaecology, or neurology.
- Strong scientific communication skills — comfortable presenting complex data to clinical audiences.
- MSL experience preferred; outstanding clinicians new to the MSL role will be considered.
- Bonus: experience in neuromodulation, chronic pain, or reproductive psychiatry; existing KOL relationships in PMDD or endometriosis; EU clinical network (Germany, France, Netherlands, Nordics); conference presentation or abstract publication experience.
What we offer
- Competitive salary benchmarked to your experience and market.
- Private health coverage and employer pension contributions.
- Generous paid time off.
- A small, senior team where you own something consequential from day one.
